Google+ officially Launches Pages for Brands and Business Community

Google+ is in competition with facebook. Now Google has officially announced that they have launched pages for different brands and communities for their social networking site. After launching this new feature in Google+, most of the peoples think that that both the social networking sites are now in competition.

Google+ have some very unique features that facebook don’t have like Circles, Hangouts, integration with its major sites. Facebook team is trying to bring these features in their own social networking site. They have recently introduced facebook video calling (in response of Hangouts in Google+). Most of the people find it useful.

Google+ is also copying facebook features like profile banners, pages, status updates (giving new name “stream”). We can say that in future these two social networking may enter into bigger competition.

So moving on to today’s topic of Google+ pages we will see how to create pages on Google+.

Here is the step by step guide.

Steps:-

(1):-Go to this URL

https://www.plus.google.com/

(2):-Create an account and if you already have then sign in.

(3):-On Home Page or on the main page search for this. “Google+ Pages”

It’s on bottom-right of your page.

(4):-Click on this link and you will be on this page.

(5):-Currently Google+ is offering pages in four different categories.

(6):-First is “local business or place”

You need to provide your business phone number and location to get register new page for your business or blog.

(7):-Next is “Product or brand” .Its only ask you to enter name an category. Others things are optional.

(8):-“Company, Institute and organization” comes at 3rd place and it’s also offer the same option as described in “product or brand”.

(9):-Last but not least is “Arts, Entertainment or Sports”. It’s also having the same options but as category is different so there is change.

(10):-Last is “other” and you can create different page of your choice if it is not mentioned in list.

(11):-At next step you need to upload picture for your page profile and its very simple.

Q:-Why I am going to involve in this?

Ans:-As you need to tell peoples about your blog or website you need some base. So it’s a base and also a source of traffic for your blog. As many peoples follow your page more traffic you will get on your page. So its also important to have blog page :) .
