What are Nofollow and Dofollow Links? Tips for Bloggers

If you are new to blogging or SEO you most probably have seen people talking about nofollow and dofollow links. They are very important in increasing blog traffic, increasing your Google page rank and increasing your backlinks. They both are important in SEO and in web traffic. Basically link with no rel="nofollow" attribute is considered to be dofollow and link with this attribute is considered to be nofollow link. Dofollow Links and Their Importance Dofollow links are very important in increasing your page rank and traffic rank. Actually what's happen is when Google bot crawl your pages it check all the thing on your page including text, headings, images, links and alt attributes. If there is any link present without rel=nofollow attribute it just follow that page and landed on that page. If that link is going to very low level blog/site it effects your pagerank. So while writing you must consider adding rel attribute to all of links pointing to low level websites. If you have link on some high page rank website it also improves your site ranking.
