Add Custom favicon to your Blog

It is basically icon or unique representation image for your blog. You can set custom favicon for your blog. Favicons are animated also. You can also write some selected text at your favicon icon. Your written words can also move in animated favicon. Favicon must be a perfect square. Normally the blogger standard favicon is set to your blog. Favicon is some thing like this and it is located here. See below

There are number of ways to generate favicon for your blog. You can create image file (favicon) of size 16×16, 32×32 or 64×64 in paint program. There are number of site on web that’s offer free favicon for your blog or website.

Let’s see how to create favicon

Steps:-

(1):-Select any image from your computer, create one in paint or in any other software, download from web or generate favicon image from any favicon generating website.

(2):-save that image (icon) in your hard drive.

(3):-Go to your blogger homepage. Select blog and than select layout option.

Blogger>>Layout.

(4):-On top left corner you will see a widget with heading favicon.

(5):-Click on edit option of that favicon.

(6):-New window will open and you see browse option. Just select that image you have created or downloaded from web. Click on save and you are finish.

After some time your favicon will appear on your blog. This is simplest method to add custom favicon to your blog. In next article I will tell you about animated and websites generated favicons.
